At 73, I haven’t slowed down much, by choice.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: commercial real estate broker, financial advisor, lifelong athlete, and now, creator of Retirementeering™. I’ve lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, and Colorado, and no matter where I’ve been, I’ve remained curious, active, and in motion.
I graduated from Rollins College in 1977 with a Bachelors in psychology and haven’t stopped learning since. I’ve now been in financial services for 30 years working in insurance, stock brokerage, portfolio management, equity trading, Medicare, and retirement planning. Before that it was two decades in commercial real estate. I know how markets move, how people think, and how important it is to have a plan, mentally, financially, and physically.

If there is a constant in my life, it’s movement.
I was an All-American swimmer in high school. I played competitive tennis and squash, windsurfed, surfed, shot sporting clays and 5-Stand, and fished everywhere from the Atlantic to the Gulf to the Rockies. I’ve skied for six decades and played more rounds of golf than I can count, in more places than I could name. For the past 30 years, I’ve poured my energy into road biking, through flatlands, mountain roads, and an occasional crash. One occurred two years ago descending a canyon at over 30 mph, resulting in seven fractured ribs and a punctured lung. Thankfully I was out of the hospital in a day.
I’ve had sports injuries, tough breaks, and setbacks, but staying in shape and engaged has helped me recover again and again. These experiences haven’t just shaped how I live; they’ve shaped how I can help others plan and live their own version of an active, purposeful life.

Retirementeering™ isn’t a brand, it’s a mindset. It’s about staying sharp, staying fit, staying engaged, and building a life with enough freedom and stability to keep doing the things you love, on your terms. If you’re looking for some guidance on how to do that, with your health, your fitness, your income or your retirement years, I may be able to help.
I’m here to offer what I’ve learned, and what I continue learning every day because this chapter of life isn’t about winding down.
It’s about showing up fully for what’s still ahead!
